About me

Hi, I'm Lee.

I'm a photographer based in Bromsgrove, and I've been creating images for almost two decades. I enjoy photographing most things, but weddings, events, portraits, product and architecture work are where I spend most of my time.

I like to think that I'm calm, friendly and easy to work with. I like to keep things relaxed, have some fun along the way and make sure everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera. Whether we're photographing your wedding, creating new headshots or covering an event, my aim is to capture natural images without making the experience feel awkward or overly posed.

I don't have a one-size-fits-all approach. Every client is different, so I take the time to understand what you're looking for and work in a way that suits you and I stay flexible on the day so you get what you actually want

I’m also a firm believer in being upfront about pricing. Unlike a lot of photographers, I list my prices here on the website, so there’s no guessing games or hidden costs, just straightforward pricing from the start.

Why Moodus?

It's a question I get asked quite a bit.

My surname is Moody, so when I was at school I ended up with the nickname "Moodus", after Colonel Moodus from the book Catch-22. It stuck with me over the years, so when it came to naming my photography business, it just seemed to fit.

Looking back, it's quite appropriate really. Good photography isn't just about taking a nice picture. It's about capturing the mood, the atmosphere and the emotion behind the moment. Whether it's a wedding, an event or a portrait, those are the things that bring a photograph to life.
